Overview of the project
JBM is a recruitment company that works with high-growth companies and future leaders. It has a diverse network of contacts to align talent with roles that will make a positive impact on business growth and people’s lives.
Having created a landing page, we were commissioned to redesign and rebuild the whole site. They previously had a very old WordPress site with a CRM integration that didn’t work effectively. Our brief was to design and build an informative, lead generation website with a bold and minimal design style and clear user journey.
We completely redesigned the website, refreshing the brand with new illustrations by Katerina Balakina. We used the existing brand mark, colour palette and fonts to expand the overall style and conducted imagery research using free stock assets. Our copywriter refreshed the content for the website to highlight key points of difference and JBM’s values-led approach. This incorporated snappier headlines and pulling forward their credentials and approach to diversity.
The site was built using WordPress and Elementor for CMS functionality and flexibility. We helped the client select a new integration set up by recommending Matador Jobs. Users can now register with JBM and apply for jobs from the live job feed and all data is sent into the Bullhorn CRM system to allow for job and candidate management.
We focused on the user experience with wireframes, design prototypes and build iterations. This also involved creating deeper landing pages to aid SEO. And we improved the usability of the 40 Minute Mentor podcast page; a key space for marketing and messaging.
Moving forward, we’ll be providing on-going support, updates to WordPress and plugins, hosting on our WordPress optimised server, and CMS training.
