Overview of the project
American Amusements owns and manages four family entertainment centres. Having already worked with the company, Preface Studios was appointed to redevelop its four agile and dynamic sites to keep them alive with daily promotions, discounts, competitions and downloadable vouchers. The focus was firmly on creating a strategy that would boost bookings and enquiries and make the site super-quick on mobile.
Preface Studios’ challenge was to improve the legibility of offers and prices; we did this by evolving to a more mature colour palette, while maintaining a fun look and feel. We chose clearer fonts and streamlined the offers and parties section by minimising deeper level pages and using filtering systems, enabling users to quickly find information. Non-critical information was removed to focus on activities. Social media platforms were integrated to maintain an energetic online atmosphere and drive website visits.
