Overview of the project

Our team was commissioned to design and build a website for Max Furniture, the UK’s leading acoustic booth specialist. The company has an extensive showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell and wanted its website to reflect the quality and range on offer. The previous website was a bit of a muddle; although it was built using WordPress, the eCommerce features were switched off and the structure wasn’t correct from an SEO perspective.

The brief was to create a minimal, bright and contemporary site using the existing brand mark, colour palette and fonts. To improve the user experience (UX), we had to make sure the four acoustic booth brands could be found easily and clearly differentiated and ensure the product range within those brands could be easily expanded. We made the categorisation of the products simple to use and consistent. For each of the products you can filter and view a product gallery, product specification, download an image pack and product brochure or book a demo.

Our team provided full consultancy and advice on best practice for website features and functions. We added all the new content to the site, including a Science of Sound page to highlight key benefits and statistics.

We used WordPress for its ease of use and CMS functionality and are providing on-going support and updates. We also conducted WordPress training to enable the client to add additional content.

We made the site full width for maximum impact and to ensure the content scales well across large screens as well as mobile devices. Animated touches on the content make it easy for the user to digest. And tracking tools measure the website effectiveness.
